We Have an ACE on Our Pest Control Team!

ace award

We are excited to announce that Levi Brody of Brody Brothers Pest Control, Inc. was recently certified as a Certified Associate Entomologist by the Entomological Society of America Certification Corporation. Levi Brody has been at the center of our pest control team since our inception, and this impressive certification is recognition of his dedication to everything from insect biology to safety in the field and managing pests with smarter pest control techniques.

An Impressive Certification

To achieve an Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certification, a pest control team member must have at least seven years of verifiable pest management experience, the knowledge and ability to pass a rigorous test on insect pest control, a current United States pesticide applicators license and a dedication to upholding the ACE Code of Ethics.

The ACE certification is widely considered to be the future of professional pest management and a benchmark for professionalism in the industry. The program is endorsed by the National Pest Management Association and backed by the Entomological Society of America, the largest insect science society in the world, with a 150-year history and 7,000 members.

Levi Brody, ACE, is now one of only 1% of pest control professionals nationwide! Thanks to this certification, Levi Brody will be a resource for other pest control professionals on our team. His in-depth knowledge of pest control processes and why they work on an environmental and insect level will help to inform all of our quality standards and educate technicians. Every one of our customers will reap the benefits of the thousands of hours Levi spent learning, working on the job and studying for his ACE certification.

The ACE Examination

The comprehensive examination includes a wide range of questions covering:

  • Basic entomology
  • Insect identification and life cycles
  • Insect control measures
  • Health impacts of pests
  • Environmental principles and impacts relating to pest control
  • Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques
  • Pesticide safety and technology
  • Organizations and associations of importance to the pest control industry
  • Laws and regulations affecting the pest control industry

Our Dedication to Continuing Education Helps Every Customer
